Selling Gymbo on Ebay

Ever wonder how to resell Gymboree on Ebay? Don't you dare buy a cheesy E-book or packet off of ebay! I have all of the information you need right here!

As a stay-at-home mom to a wonderful baby boy I thought selling Gymboree on Ebay sounded like a good idea to bring in some extra cash, And let me tell you, I would have never in a million years thought I could make a living off of it! Guess what?! YOU CAN! I am about to tell you everything you need to know to get your ebay business thriving.

Things to know :) :

First of all, as you might already know that Gymboree is one of the most popular childrens lines sold on ebay. There is a lot of competition in Gymboree selling, but don't let that scare you!

The thing about Gymboree is that they come out with lines every few weeks, and every piece in one line coordintes with all of the other pieces. Once the line has sold out, it is GONE, and one of the only places to find it is on Ebay of course!

Tips on getting your inventory:

Truth be told, There is no magic Gymboree wholesale website. You can buy wholesale on Ebay but chances are you will get ripped off. How do you think they get their inventory? You will make the most profit buying the clothes yourself. This DOES take a lot of effort. You MUST go to your local Gymboree A LOT! At least weekly! You won't get the best deals just shopping online. So if you don't have a local Gymboree then this probably isn't for you.

Here are a few buyng tips,

-Get to know your Gymboree employees!!!!!! This is a must!! They can get you inside info about big sales, and can pull MEGA clearance from the back room for you!

-I will NEVER buy anything unless its AT LEAST 60% off!

-If you do choose to get your inventory from ebay wholesale NEVER waste your money on double your bid lots! You will be lucky if you make your money back!

-Don't buy without a coupon! Buying from the clearance rack alone won't make you the best profit.

-Womans world and Parents magazine usually have a 20% off gymboree coupon in every issue.

-Girls clothing sells best, that doesn't mean avoid boys clothes though.

-Register online at gymboree.com, you will get all of there sale info as well as coupons and promo codes.

- Buy business cards! You can get them for FREE off of www.visaprint.com, you just have to pay for shipping.

Gymboree sales info:

Gymboree is constantly introducing new lines, As a result they are costantly marking down old inventory. A line will first be marked down 20% off retail, then 40% off, then 60% off.

Gymboree offers the following promotions which are very helpful to a resale buisness :)

RED DOT CLEARANCE- This usually goes on at the end of a season, You don't need a coupon. This is where things are marked .99 and up! They have bins full of clothing that I find my self digging through! It is a goldmine of bargains! I have gotten 12.75 tops and shorts for 1.99, 19.75 tops for 2.99 and 14.75 leggings for .99 cents!

CIRCLE OF FRIENDS- 30% off of everything! usually runs for 3 days. For this your need a coupon or an online code. They usually hand you one when you walk in the store :)

RISE AND SHINE- 25% off of new lines only! Not a very useful coupon.

GYMBUCKS- LOVE THEM!!! They offer this amazing promotion a few times a year. For every $50 you spend you get $25.00 in gymbucks that can be used on a future purchase of $50 or more. Thats 50% off stuff thats already on clearance! You can get as much as 90% off!!!

They usually offer a circle of friends sale during the gymbucks earning period. Thats when I buy A lot!!

Tips on great listings:

Great pictures are a must! Having more than one photo is very important. People love to see close-ups of your items. Take pictures of details such as embroidery, bows, lace trim or anything that will catch someones eye.

Ever wonder where people get those adorable templates? I recomend the sellers sourcebook. They have 1000's of templates plus unlimited photo uploading and it only costs 8.00 a month!

When taking photos place items on a solid color background, People need to see your item clearly and not be distracted by your background. I have a few sheets that I use for back drops for my items.

ALWAYS put the size in the listing!! People ALWAYS shop by size.

If your clothing item is a 4, always list it as 4t also so it will show up in more searches.

If you have an 18-24 month item list it as 2t also.

ALWAYS put the brand name in the listing title!!!

Make sure you put the line name in the title. If you don't know the line name you can go to Gymbohaven.com its a amazing site!

ALWAYS SPELLCHECK!!!!!!

When listing your items try to aim for a 25%-30% profit.

Did you know you can get FREE shipping supplies from the usps?! Go on the website and sign up.
